He completed a postgraduate diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare at Keele University in 2010.
Although Michael has worked extensively within the NHS and private practice, he has specialised in lower limb rehabilitation combining clinical research at The University of Warwick and a clinical role with innovative knee surgeons at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. More recently, he has contributed to published research on knee surgery outcomes.
He has regularly rehabilitated clients following spinal, shoulder and knee surgery, in particular joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and meniscal transplant of the knee.
Michael has a particular interest in return to sport, whether recreational or elite, and has worked with elite performers including judo players, athletes, hockey, rugby, golf and tennis players. Michael is a keen road cyclist and mountain biker.
